Dubai Deploys 750 Officers, Drones, and Patrols for Back-to-School Safety 2025

The Dubai Police General Command has rolled out a large-scale Back-to-School Safety and Security Plan for the 2025–2026 academic year, aiming to ensure the safety of students as they return to classrooms on Monday, August 25.

Unveiled at a press conference, the initiative will see 750 senior officers and police personnel deployed across the emirate, supported by 250 patrols, including luxury cars, mounted units, and motorcycles. In addition, nine drones will be used to monitor roads and enhance safety measures.

The campaign is part of Dubai’s ongoing efforts to promote road safety and is closely linked with the annual “Day Without Accidents” initiative, which highlights responsible driving during the busy school season.

Authorities have urged motorists to follow traffic rules, especially respecting speed limits and giving way to school buses, to protect students during daily commutes.
