Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau, in collaboration with Derana Media Network, will host the Colombo International Kite Festival 2025 on August 24 at Galle Face Green.
The event, organized under the Colombo Destination Branding Project, will feature 55 international participants representing 25 countries across five continents, along with 500 local kite flyers.
Organizers said the festival aims to highlight Colombo’s cultural vibrancy and strengthen its profile as a world-class travel destination. The colorful spectacle will showcase art, culture, and international friendship through kite flying, drawing both local and global audiences.
