DIMO and Siemens Deliver Advanced Building Solutions for Cinnamon Life

DIMO, in collaboration with global technology leader Siemens, has completed a landmark project delivering cutting-edge Building Services solutions to Cinnamon Life – Sri Lanka’s most iconic integrated development, featuring a luxury hotel, residences, commercial spaces, and retail hubs.

The installation includes Siemens Sinteso Fire Detection and Alarm Systems, renowned for their ASAtechnology-based, false-alarm-free detection, and scalability to over 5,000 devices per panel. Complementing this is the Siemens Sinorix 5112 Fire Suppression System, which uses FK-5-1-12 clean agent technology for fast, environmentally responsible fire control.

A centralised Siemens Building Management System (BMS) automates HVAC, lighting, energy, fire safety, elevators, and water systems, enabling real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance, and mobile access. Smart controls optimise comfort, efficiency, and operational excellence across all areas.

The project also includes a KNX-based lighting control system, access control with RFID, biometrics, and vehicle recognition, a robust CCTV network with remote monitoring, and an IP-based Public Address System for instant communication.

DIMO Executive Director Wijith Pushpawela emphasised that delivering the Cinnamon Life project required rigorous selection processes and compliance with international standards, positioning DIMO as the trusted partner for this landmark development.
