Hrithik Roshan to attend grand opening of City of Dreams

Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan is set to visit Sri Lanka for the much-anticipated grand opening of City of Dreams Sri Lanka on August 2, 2025, stepping in as the special guest following the withdrawal of Shah Rukh Khan.

Initially, Shah Rukh Khan was scheduled to perform at the invite-only launch event of South Asia’s first luxury integrated resort. However, organizers announced that Khan would no longer be attending due to “unforeseen and unavoidable personal reasons.”

Hrithik Roshan, one of India’s most celebrated actors and performers, will now grace the red carpet at the landmark event, which marks the official unveiling of the mega project jointly developed by John Keells Holdings and Melco Resorts & Entertainment.
