Emirates is elevating the air travel experience for passengers flying to Sri Lanka and the Maldives, with the expansion of its popular Premium Economy service.
From this month onward, Emirates has deployed its newly retrofitted Boeing 777 aircraft on select flights to Colombo and Malé, offering passengers a new level of comfort across all classes.
To the Maldives: Three Daily Flights with Premium Economy
Emirates now offers Premium Economy seating on three of its four daily flights to Malé:
Flights EK656/657 and EK660/661 now operate with the upgraded Boeing 777
Each aircraft includes 24 Premium Economy seats in a 2-4-2 layout featuring:
Wider recline
Extra legroom
Leather upholstery
To Sri Lanka: Premium Economy Doubled
Passengers heading to Colombo will now have two daily flights with Premium Economy service:
From July 18, flight EK650/651 will use the retrofitted Boeing 777
This complements the existing A350 Premium Economy flight EK654/655
What’s New on Board?
The updated Boeing 777 not only brings Premium Economy but also introduces a revamped Business Class cabin, inspired by Emirates’ A380. Passengers will experience:

Light wood paneling
A clean, modern cabin design
