Djokovic Secures 100th Wimbledon Win with Dominant Display, Eyes Record 25th Grand Slam

Novak Djokovic stormed into the fourth round of Wimbledon with a powerful performance, crushing fellow Serbian Miomir Kecmanovic 6-3, 6-0, 6-4 in just 1 hour and 50 minutes, and in doing so, etched his name deeper into tennis history with his 100th Wimbledon match victory.

The seven-time Wimbledon champion became only the third player in history to achieve this milestone at the All England Club, joining legends Martina Navratilova and Roger Federer, the latter holding the record with 105 wins.

“Wimbledon is a dream tournament for so many of us. Any history I make here, I feel blessed,” Djokovic said after the match, visibly emotional during his on-court interview.

To mark the moment, Djokovic performed a joyful victory dance — a personal tradition this tournament — sharing the moment with his daughter who watched proudly from the coaching box.

At 38 years old, the sixth seed now turns his focus to a fourth-round showdown against Australian 11th seed Alex de Minaur, as he continues his quest for a record-breaking 25th Grand Slam title, which would surpass Margaret Court and put him in sole possession of the all-time record.

The performance against Kecmanovic was vintage Djokovic: sharp serves, unmatched returns, and dazzling movement. His dominance was so complete that he won nine consecutive games before Kecmanovic managed to get on the scoreboard in the third set — earning sarcastic cheers and a raised fist from the underdog.

Even when the crowd playfully tried to rattle him, shouting “Don’t panic Novak!” during a rare stumble, Djokovic held firm and sealed the win in the next game.

With defending champion Carlos Alcaraz looming and top seed Jannik Sinner also in formidable form, Djokovic’s road won’t be easy. But given his clinical performance and unwavering determination, many believe this might be his best chance to make history once again at SW19.
