Evangelista says individuality in fashion doesn’t mean chasing trends. “You don’t have to throw out everything in your closet for whatever’s new. I’m okay with shoes from last season—and the one before. It’s about what works for you.”

On Her First Major Splurge:

Her most memorable early purchase? A white gold men’s Blancpain watch with a leather strap, inspired by her fascination with horology and gemology while living in Paris. “It was a big purchase even by today’s standards,” she reflects.
