DIMO, the Authorized General Distributor for Mercedes-Benz in Sri Lanka, has clinched the ‘General Distributor Award’ at the Mercedes-Benz Service Excellence – Regional Award Ceremony, outperforming peers across Southeast Asia.
This honor reflects DIMO’s longstanding commitment—spanning over 85 years—to maintaining world-class automotive service standards set by Mercedes-Benz AG. The award also highlights DIMO’s reputation for aftersales excellence and customer satisfaction.
The ceremony saw Gahanath Pandithage, Group Managing Director/CEO of DIMO, and Mahesh Karunaratne, COO of Automotive Engineering Solutions, accept the award in person, with the Mercedes-Benz service team joining virtually.
Additionally, Abilash Sriiynkaran was named Top Service Advisor – Sri Lanka, further showcasing DIMO’s deep technical expertise and client service leadership.
Mercedes-Benz AG evaluated distributors based on stringent KPIs such as the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and Net Promoter Score (NPS). DIMO led in both, backed by service quality audits and independent customer experience surveys.
