Bidding Opens for Auction of 27 Presidential Vehicles

The President’s Office has officially called for bids on 27 luxury and decommissioned vehicles as part of a public auction.

These vehicles, manufactured between 1991 and 2016, are part of a phased auction process. The current round follows an earlier phase in which 14 luxury vehicles and 6 decommissioned ones were successfully auctioned.

Interested bidders can collect tender documents from the President’s Office, open on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., until May 14.

The vehicles will be available for public inspection at Salu Sala, Jawatte Road, Colombo, on May 14.

This auction is part of an initiative to streamline state assets and increase transparency in the disposal of government property.
