ATM 2025 Opens in Dubai, Showcasing Global Travel Connectivity and Innovation

The 32nd edition of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) has officially opened its doors at the Dubai World Trade Centre, welcoming more than 2,800 exhibitors and over 55,000 travel professionals from 166 countries. With international exhibitors making up 67% of participants, ATM 2025 emphasizes its growing significance on the global tourism map.

This year’s theme, “Global Travel: Developing Tomorrow’s Tourism Through Enhanced Connectivity,” focuses on how stronger links across borders, industries, and communities are shaping a sustainable and inclusive future for travel. The exhibition features a dynamic lineup, including the expanded ATM Conference across three stages — Global Stage, Future Stage, and the brand-new Business Events Stage.

Danielle Curtis, Exhibition Director for ATM, highlighted that the event is on track to set new records in attendance and exhibitor numbers. New features like IBTM@ATM, a dedicated zone for business events, and the expanded ATM Travel Tech section are set to enhance this year’s experience. Travel Tech has grown by over 23%, featuring cutting-edge innovations and a new Start-Up and Innovation Zone.

Asia is one of the fastest-growing regions at ATM, with a 20% year-on-year increase in participation. Destinations like Japan, the Maldives, South Korea, India, and Thailand are prominently showcased. India’s presence has also surged by 30%, driven by a strong showing from regional tourism boards and major airlines.

Visitor demographics highlight the event’s global reach, with 52% of attendees coming from international markets. India, Egypt, the UK, Türkiye, and the USA are the top five international visitor sources, while the UAE and GCC continue to contribute significantly.

A major highlight of ATM 2025 is the launch of IBTM@ATM, connecting business event buyers with global exhibitors. The Business Events Stage will host talks featuring leaders from the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA), Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism, and more, discussing strategies to grow the business events sector.

On the Future Stage, Cassie Kozyrkov, former Google Chief Decision Scientist and current CEO of Kozyr, will lead a keynote on “AI Adoption: From Buzzwords to Business Strategy”, exploring the challenges and opportunities AI presents to the travel industry.

Across the exhibition halls, major industry names like Booking.com, dnata Travel Group, and Airbnb will discuss emerging travel microtrends, while hospitality leaders from Four Seasons, Rotana, and Sabre Hospitality will explore how hotel brands are evolving to offer immersive experiences.

ATM 2025’s strategic partners include the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), Emirates Airlines, IHG Hotels & Resorts, and Al Rais Travel.

ATM 2025 promises to be a landmark event, shaping the future of global travel through innovation, sustainability, and enhanced connectivity.
