It was a proud moment for the Sri Lankan Australian community as Millon Landers, the Founding President of the Chartered Accountants Sri Lanka Australia Chapter, was recognised with the prestigious Community Volunteer Award presented by Hon. Kate Thwaites MP.
The award acknowledges Millon’s tireless dedication, leadership, and years of voluntary service to the community, particularly in empowering professionals, building cross-cultural connections, and promoting Sri Lankan excellence in Australia. His commitment to uplifting others through mentorship and community engagement has made a lasting impact.
As the inaugural president of the CA Sri Lanka Australia Chapter, Millon played a pivotal role in establishing a strong platform for Sri Lankan chartered accountants residing in Australia, fostering professional development, knowledge sharing, and a sense of belonging among members.
