UAE President Reaffirms Commitment to Global Energy Security in Meeting with US Energy Secretary

UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received US Secretary of Energy Chris Wright today at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi, as part of the Secretary’s tour of the Middle East.

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed the strategic UAE-US relationship, focusing on enhancing cooperation in the fields of energy, advanced technology, artificial intelligence, and sustainable economic development. They also explored opportunities for increased investment in the energy sector.

His Highness reaffirmed the UAE’s dedication to strengthening its longstanding partnership with the United States, emphasizing the importance of collaboration to drive mutual progress and development. He also underscored the UAE’s strong commitment to supporting global energy security, a cornerstone for global economic stability and prosperity.

The meeting was attended by H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Al Dhafra Region; H.H. Lt. Gen. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; and several other high-ranking officials including ministers and ambassadors.
