The motorsport world is buzzing with excitement as one of the brightest talents in racing, Yevan David, has officially signed with Motopark for the highly anticipated 2025 Euroformula Open Championship.

Sri Lanka’s racing sensation, Yevan David, tipped to be one of the most exciting young racing prospects from Asia, will take the next step in his journey to Formula 1 with confirmation he will compete in the 2025 Euroformula Open season with the highly successful Motopark team.

The 17-year-old Sri Lankan driver has built an impressive racing résumé, progressing from a decorated karting career into singleseaters with immediate results. Having shown his talent in Formula 4 level competition, David now graduates from the Euroformula Open, where he will compete on some of the most iconic circuits in Europe.

“I am thrilled to be joining Motopark for the 2025 season,” said David. “Euroformula Open is a fantastic championship that has helped develop many top drivers, and I’m confident that working with such a strong team will allow me to showcase my potential.

I am proud to represent Sri Lanka on the international stage and hope to inspire more young racers from my country to pursue motorsport.” Motopark, renowned for nurturing top-tier talent and securing numerous championship titles, has a strong track record of producing drivers who advance to the highest levels of single-seater racing.

Motorpark Team Principal Timo Rumpfkeil expressed his confidence in David’s potential:

“Yevan has shown great promise in his career so far, and we believe he could be highly competitive in Euroformula Open. His work ethic, determination, and raw speed make him an exciting addition to our team.”
