Angelo Mathews makes terminally ill young fan’s wish come true

Sri Lankan cricketer Angelo Mathews has visited a terminally ill young fan at an invitation extended by the Indira Cancer Trust under its Make-A-Wish campaign. 

The cricketer was seen engaging with the child, who is said to be a huge cricket fan and had always wanted to see one of his cricketing heroes. 

“Was great to be a part of Make a wish campaign by  #indiracancertrust quite amazed by what they do to help children with cancer! Everyone deserves a second shot at life and let us all unite to make a better place for children and let’s help out in whatever way possible,” cricketer Angelo Mathews shared about his visit in a post on ‘X’. (Newswire)
