The St. Peter’s College Old Boys Social Club, established in 1982, fosters strong relationships among its members and provides a support network for Peterites in Melbourne. Emphasizing their commitment to community, the club encourages participation through various events and activities. In line with their ethos, the club states, “As old boys of one of the largest Catholic schools in Sri Lanka, we are committed to supporting each other no matter how far and wide we are spread across the world.”

The tradition of the tournament aligns with the club’s mission to honor their roots and continue the spirit of friendship initiated during their school days. In the words of Jesus Christ, “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you” (John 15:12).
