Michelle Crowther, a lifelong Cranbourne resident, is running for City of Casey Council in the Cranbourne Gardens Ward.
As a dedicated Women’s Health Physiotherapist and owner of a well-respected clinic in Cranbourne for the past 20 years, Michelle has a deep connection to her community and a passion for delivering the care and support local families deserve.
Michelle’s decision to run for council stems from the frustrations shared by many new mothers attending her clinic.
They often reported that Casey Council was frequently cancelling Maternal and Child Health (MCH) visits, leaving their children without the essential care that other Victorian children receive.
After unsuccessful attempts to advocate for change as a local resident, Michelle decided to stand for election to make a real difference.
If elected, she will prioritize restoring MCH services and ensuring that every child in Casey gets the care they need.
Beyond health services, Michelle is also committed to responsible spending of ratepayer money. She believes that Casey Council should focus on core issues such as improving local infrastructure, reducing wasteful spending, and minimizing future rate increases.
Michelle will also work to restore pride in the community by advocating for more frequent maintenance of public spaces, including regular mowing and improved upkeep of local areas.
To maintain transparency and integrity, Michelle is self-funding her campaign and is not accepting any donations. She is focused on making meaningful changes that benefit the residents of Cranbourne Gardens Ward.
