Limansa Tillakaratne, the daughter of former Sri Lanka Cricket captain TM Dilshan, who returned from Australia earlier this year, has been included in the Sri Lanka Under-19 squad for their upcoming tour.
The squad also features six players from Devapathiraja College in Rathgama: Sumudu Nisansala, Sanjana Kavindi, Rashmi Nethranjali, Hiruni Hansika, Shehara Induwari, and Nethagi Isuranjali. The team will be captained by Manudi Nanayakkara from Prince of Wales College, Moratuwa.
The 16-member squad is set to compete in both T20 and 50-over matches in a tri-series against Australia and New Zealand, starting on September 20, 2024. The tour has received approval from the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs.
