Saasha’s journey in the entertainment industry began at the age of 17 when she hosted the kids’ edutainment show “Prime Sunset” on Prime TV (ITN). Over the next 14 years, she gained invaluable experience as a TV presenter, producer, and radio host, working with several major networks including Prime TV, CSN, ITN, Swarnavahini, TV1, and Sirasa TV. Saasha Karunarathna was born in Sri Lanka on January 1, 1993. She attended Lyceum International School, where she described herself as an average student who didn’t excel in studies, sports, or the arts. Despite this, her passion for media led her to pursue a Diploma in Journalism at Colombo University, setting the stage for her future career.

Embracing platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, she transitioned into a social media content creator. Her focus on personal growth, self-care, fashion, skincare, and lifestyle content quickly resonated with viewers, building a dedicated following. Today, Saasha is known for her creative and relatable content, inspiring and entertaining her audience across various social media channels with a collective following of close to 500,000 followers and tens of millions of views.
Two of her most notable recent achievements include the viral “Sri Lankan Asoka Trend” and a Luxury Apartment Tour, which together garnered over 8 million views across multiple platforms.
