Ricky of ZEROBASEONE Has Black Hair for the First Time Since Boys Planet — See Photos

[ad_1]

This is not a drill. After much anticipation, ZEROBASEONE member Ricky finally debuted black hair.

Ever since his debut on the Korean reality television competition series Boys Planet back in February of 2023, Ricky has been mainly sporting platinum blonde hair. Even after placing within the top nine contestants on the show and debuting in the winning group ZEROBASEONE, the K-pop idol had his signature blonde look for quite some time, making fans wonder what he looks like with black hair.

Since then, Ricky has only debuted two other hair colors, and neither has been fully black. He briefly opted for a dip-dyed look that featured blonde hair and black tips during promotions for their second single, CRUSH, back in November of 2023. Later, in March 2024, Ricky attended a Gucci Ancora party in Shanghai, China, and shocked fans by debuting bright red hair, complete with a matching monochrome look. He’s had the red hair color ever since, but now he’s back to black.

On May 13, 2024, ZEROBASEONE attended a showcase for their comeback with the single “Feel the POP” from the new album, You had me at HELLO, and Ricky surprised fans with his freshly dyed black hair. He stuck to his signature hairstyle, a middle part, and medium-length cut, but opted for the dark hue for the first time since his debut. To match his new hair color, he wore an all-black look. The monochrome ensemble included a black button-down top, a leather vest, jeans, and gloves with jewelry and belts as accessories.
