Noting that the man lost significant earning opportunities during his imprisonment, the court ordered the woman to compensate him with ₹5.88 lakh, equal to the amount he would have earned during the time he spent as an undertrial. Additionally, the woman was sentenced to the same period of imprisonment as the man, underscoring the severity of her actions.
