Protean captain Laura Wolvaardt showcased her exceptional form with the bat in white-ball series against Sri Lanka. In April, Wolvaardt featured in one T20I and three ICC Women’s Championship ODIs, making runs in each of those games. In the month of April, she scored 391 runs in 4 matches.
The West Indies captain and star all-rounder has been an unstoppable force for her side lately. In April, Matthews made three appearances in T20Is and as many in ODIs against Pakistan. She had a glorious April as she scored 451 runs in six matches in the April and picked up 12 crucial wickets in this period of time.
Sri Lankan skipper Chamari Athapaththu also had a serious month in the April. Had a fantastic tour in South Africa and broke Women’s Cricket of second highest individual score in Women’s ODI and also 2nd second highest individual score while chasing both in Men’s and Womens after Glenn Maxwell. She has scored 406 runs in the six games and picked up two wickets. She also regained numner one spot in ODI Cricket in that period of time.
