Vicor to announce modular power conversion solutions for 48V Zonal Architectures at WCX 2024

[ad_1]

With the automotive industry shifting towards 48V zonal architectures, power system design engineers are seeking advanced high voltage power conversion systems that offer superior power density, weight, and scalability characteristics.

Vicor Corporation is scheduled to deliver five presentations at the World Congress Experience 2024 (WCX™) in Detroit from April 16 to 18. These presentations will focus on Vicor’s pioneering method of power conversion, namely in the areas of 800V and 48V, utilizing advanced power modules that are both high-density and scalable. These modules use unique topologies and creative packaging techniques developed by Vicor.

The WCX™ World Congress Experience is a gathering of the engineering community to discuss and address the major challenges in the field of mobility. These challenges include the widespread adoption of electric vehicles, the timetables for the development of autonomous vehicles, and the understanding of global supply chain limitations that affect the automotive sector. The World Congress Experience is a conference organized by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).

The Vicor papers are the following:
