CR & FC Sports Club has won the Nippon Paint Inter-Club Rugby League after 26 years, beating Kandy Sports Club 33 – 25 on Sunday.
CR & FC, who remained unbeaten this season, scored four tries, two penalties and one conversion, while Kandy Sports Club, who have won the Rugby League for nine consecutive years since 2015, scored three tries, two penalties and two conversions.
The match was played at the CR & FC grounds in Longdon Place, Colombo on Sunday (18 Feb.).
