2024 Mini Countryman E and SE electric car price and specs

Electric variants of Mini’s third-generation Countryman due in the second half of 2024, at a $14,000 to $15,000 price premium over equivalent petrol models.

The 2024 Mini Countryman E and SE electric SUVs are due to land in Australian showrooms between July and September this year. 

Mini is set to offer five electric variants of its new SUV in Australia, ranging from the Countryman E Core front-wheel drive at $49,990 plus on-road costs, through to the range-topping Countryman SE All4 JCW Sport all-wheel drive at $77,990 plus on-road costs. 

Countryman E models – available in Core, Classic and Favoured equipment levels, which cost $15,000 more than their petrol Countryman C equivalents – are powered by a single electric motor on the front wheels, developing 150kW and 250Nm.

Stepping up to SE variants – available in Classic, Favoured and JCW Sport variants, for $14,000 more than petrol S models – adds a second electric motor on the rear axle for all-wheel drive, and outputs of 230kW/494Nm. 

Both models feature a 63.8kWh battery which provides a claimed driving range of up to 462km in front-wheel-drive models, and 433km in the all-wheel-drive variants. 

Standard equipment on the entry-level Core model includes 18-inch wheels, LED headlights, and a 9.4-inch infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities. 

Mini’s new Countryman measures 4433mm in length, 1843mm wide and 1656mm tall, riding on a 2692mm wheelbase.

The 2024 Mini Countryman E and SE models are due in Australian showrooms between July and September this year.
