Abbie Chatfield details taboo sex act, releases $220 ‘Anal Play Kit’ with Normal

Abbie Chatfield has made a jaw-dropping bedroom admission in a bid to help improve sexual education.

The outspoken influencer has partnered with Normal, an Australian wellness brand committed to “changing the conversation” around sex, to create a new adult toy that “tackles one of the most long-lasting sexual taboos”.

Abbie has partnered with the brand to release an an “anal play kit” after discovering it can be a “game-changer” in the bedroom.

“It still feels like a taboo, but it can also be some of the best, full body pleasure any of us can experience,” the 28-year-old said.

“I remember the first time I was curious, I was a bit overwhelmed because like all of us, I didn’t get any sex positive info when I was growing up.

“We often have this stereotype it will be like what we see in porn – and while that can be great, it’s just one way to explore.

“So I wanted to design a modular kit to create something for everyone; from first-timers to full converts that can be used on its own or blended with other experiences.”

Normal’s co-founders, certified sex coach Georgia Grace and self-confessed “sex stats nerd” Lucy Wark said they created the brand to help fight taboos.

“We think everyone deserves to ‘find their normal’ without shame or stigma when it comes to sex and pleasure,” Lucy said.

“Empowering everyone to explore is the next wave in the ‘sexual wellness movement’, which has been tackling taboos and destigmatising conversations about sexuality over the last decade.

“We’ve seen incredible change happen in a short time through education and social media – but knowledge of anatomy and pleasure lags well behind.

“For example, just 8 per cent of Australians know how to identify the prostate.”

Meanwhile Georgia said the art is the “unsung hero of sex”, stating it’s suitable for “all people of all sexualities and genders”.

The former Bachelor star, who has gone on to build a hugely successful TV career after her reality stint, has been teasing her almost 500,000 followers about the launch for weeks, with Abbie most recently asking fans to “guess” what the collaboration is.

In the teasers, the Masked Singer panellist is wearing a pair of green pants with a matching bustier top, sparking a flurry of comments.

“Green really is your colour ,” one wrote.

“Where is your outfit from?” another pressed.

As one declared: “We need more of you in that green.”

The $220 kit called “Option A” includes a variety of different “tools” and a hand bag to store it all in, though Abbie reckons it’s too “beautiful” to hide away.

“It feels like something you want to leave out on the nightstand, not hide away in a drawer – and I can’t wait for you to try it,” she said.

It’s not the first time she’s created a sex toy, previously releasing a $150 bedroom device with Vush that came complete with matching earrings.

She’s also been very vocal about a range of taboo topics, including open relationships.
