Colombo, Dec. 15 (Daily Mirror) – CR and FC cruised to a smashing 29-5 victory over Air Force SC in their SLR Nippon Paint Inter-Club League Rugby Tournament fixture played at Longden Place.
The winners collected their points from two goals and three tries after having led 22-0 at half time while the Airmen managed to score only a solitary try.
Lasindu Karunathilake, Thenuka Nanayakkara, Gemunu Chethiya, Yasas Kavindu and Randy Silva scored a try each for CR and FC while Thenuka Nanayakkara converted two tries.
Meanwhile, Rumesh Wasantha scored a consolation try for Air Force SC during the dying moments of the game.
