Roxy Jacenko reveals she’s not moving back to Sydney

[ad_1]

Roxy Jacenko, who always seemed like Sydney’s eastern suburbs practically oozed from her pores, has revealed she’s not returning to Australia … yet.

Jacenko, 43, took to Instagram for a Q&A and revealed to her followers that she wouldn’t be returning to Sydney from her Singapore stint.

She revealed that while her “permanent tan” was fading quickly and she found Singapore “interesting” she felt her time in Sydney was “done.”

This from the woman that at one point was so Sydney, she was mates with Candice Warner.

When a fan tried to pin her down and asked if she had her sights set on Melbourne, she replied she was thinking of Dubai next. Which is a far cry from Sydney’s Paddington streets, her usual stomping ground.

While Roxy’s stance might seem firm, she’s still frequenting Sydney because she has business Ministry of Talent in Sydney’s Double Bay.

Still, despite her reservations about returning to Australia full-time, she still has a creature comfort she misses, and it’s not vegemite; it’s her hairdresser.

In late November, she revealed that she’d taken an 8-hour flight to return to Sydney to get her hair dyed.

She toldThe Daily Telegraph that “they don’t know how to do blonde” in Singapore, so she returned home for the sake of her mane.

“I’ll be undergoing a complete overhaul — full blonde and extensions. So I am going to the best of the best — Jake Williams at Edwards and Co,” she explained.

It’s been a big year for Jacenko.

Not only did the family relocate to another country but Roxy’s daughter Pixie Curtis announced she’s “semi-retiring” in preparation for starting high school.

The 12-year-old, who has amassed a multimillion-dollar empire selling bows and launching her fidget spinner business during the pandemic, will step back from work and instead focus on more mundane things like homework.

“Pixie has decided to hang her online toy store shoes up to focus on her impending entry into high school,” Pixie’s mum, manager and Sydney PR mogul told news.com.au.

The 12-year-old’s fidget business earnt $200,000 in its first month, and Jacenko has previously confirmed that Pixie’s success meant she could retire at 15 years old as a millionaire.

Pixie also found plenty of perks with being the boss. Her 11th birthday party went viral for being so lavish, reportedly costing $40,000.

She is also the proud owner of a $270,000 Mercedes Benz Gl – even though she’s years off being able to drive it.
