British Airways Reduces Operations Across Seven Middle East Destinations

British Airways has scaled back its flight operations to seven destinations across the Middle East, including Dubai, Doha, and Tel Aviv, as it adjusts its summer 2026 schedule in response to ongoing regional instability.

The airline confirmed that the revised schedule will remain in effect throughout the summer season, which runs until October 24, with several routes seeing reduced frequencies or temporary suspensions.

Flights between London and Dubai will be cut from three daily services to one. The carrier said a full schedule is expected to resume from August 1, with a second daily service planned to return from October 16.

Services to Doha, Riyadh, and Tel Aviv have also been reduced from twice daily to once daily, with normal operations projected to restart in August.

Meanwhile, flights to Bahrain and Amman have been suspended for the remainder of the summer period and are set to resume on October 25.

Following a detailed operational review, British Airways also confirmed that its Jeddah route will be permanently discontinued from April 24.

In a statement, the airline said the changes were made “to provide greater clarity for our customers” amid continued uncertainty in the region.

The carrier added that it remains in direct contact with affected passengers and is offering alternative travel arrangements where possible.

British Airways also noted that it has assisted thousands of passengers since disruptions began, while deploying relief flights and increasing capacity on selected long-haul routes to manage demand.
