A 9mm Russian-made pistol along with 15 rounds of ammunition was recovered after being found buried in the garden of the residence of “Karandeniye Raju,” the brother of alleged organised criminal “Karandeniye Sudda,” during a targeted search operation.
Sri Lanka Police said the operation was carried out by the Central Crime Investigation Bureau (CCIB), adding that investigators suspect the firearm may have been used in several killings allegedly linked to “Karandeniye Raju.”
