The postal vote result for Galle district in the 2024 Presidential Election has been released by the Election Commission.
National People’s Power (NPP) candidate Anura Kumara Dissanayake has received the highest number of postal votes in the district with a total of 14,050 votes.
Samagi Jana Sandhanaya candidate Sajith Premadasa (5,733) has received the second highest number of votes followed by independent candidate President Ranil Wickremesinghe who has polled 3,401 postal votes.
Meanwhile, Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) candidate Namal Rajapaksa has polled 470 postal votes while ‘Sarvajana Balaya’ alliance candidate Dilith Jayaweera has obtained 89.
