15 injured after stabbing, liquid spray attack in Japan

At least 15 people were injured in a stabbing attack at a factory in Mishima on December 26, where an unidentified liquid—reportedly bleach—was also sprayed. All victims were taken to hospital, with five requiring emergency care, though authorities said everyone remained conscious.

Police have arrested Masaki Oyama (38) on suspicion of attempted murder. Local media reported he was linked to the factory and allegedly carried a survival knife while wearing a gas mask. The incident occurred at a Yokohama Rubber facility.
